Does this replace QuickBooks Online?
No. QBO Power Tools is a Chrome extension that adds a speed layer on top of
your existing QuickBooks Online. All your data stays in QBO. We just make it
faster to navigate and work with.
Is my data sent to your servers?
No. We do not send, store, or process your QuickBooks data on our servers. The
extension reads page elements locally to provide its features (e.g. navigating
between pages, categorizing transactions). This happens entirely in your browser —
nothing leaves your machine. If you join early access or purchase Pro later, we may
store your contact email, billing details, and license status.
Which QBO pages are supported?
The command palette and shortcuts work on core QBO pages including Dashboard,
Expenses, Invoices, Sales, Banking, and Reports. Batch Categorize is currently
available on the Expenses page. We're adding more pages over time.
Does it work for accountants with many clients?
Yes. The extension works per-tab, so it activates on any QBO company you open.
Your Pro license covers unlimited QBO companies.
What if QBO updates break something?
We monitor QBO changes and update selectors quickly. If something breaks, the
extension fails safely without affecting your QBO experience. Free features
(command palette, shortcuts) are very resilient since they don't depend on QBO's DOM.

Yes. If Pro doesn't save you time, email us and we'll work out a refund.
